Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67 (Barenboim)

Believe it or not, the entire symphony is built upon a single (rhythmic) theme ingeniously disguised into various forms (sometimes even implied without being explicitly stated) throughout the symphony. A minimalistic masterpiece!

Twist of Fate (1989)

An attempted assasination plot against Hitler sends one of his trusted SS officers into hiding as a Jew (thanks to plastic surgery and false papers) in a concentration camp. After the camp is liberated, he joins the Zionist army in their fight for Israel.
