Brief Encounter (1945)

Can a piano concerto play a leading role in a film? Yes, as strange as it may sound, it can! Watch David Lean's 1945 masterpiece "Brief Encounter" and then try to think of it without the almost continuous sound of Sergei Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto!

Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson have the leading roles. Written and produced by the charismatic Noel Coward (based on his play). With Greek subtitles (for which I apologize...).
